In Music We Trust was formed in 2001 by a group of music industry professionals who wanted to share their knowledge and experiences with promising young people. All of the partners are from radically different backgrounds educationally and professionally, but all agree that they could have progressed much more quickly in their careers had the music industry been presented as a career option while they were in school. This led to a series of outreach events to various schools that, while successful in their own right, were not touching anywhere near all of the students who could benefit from what In Music We Trust had to offer. In response to this overwhelming need we have developed the All Access: Careers In the Music Industry program.

In Music We Trust has formed several partnerships to help with the creation and implementation of MUSI© Magazine, the first major project in the All Access program. The Education-to-Careers division of the Chicago Public Schools has approved the inclusion of the magazine in the existing curriculum, and teachers, students and administrators have been clamoring for its delivery.
